SCIENCE Segment
The SPARKS Programme at Ngee Ann Secondary School offers students the opportunity to build a solid understanding in Science through foundation courses that focus on concepts, applications, and the use of technology. Through this programme, students may continue their studies in advanced courses or research that expand the breadth and depth of their understanding and help them to recognize the many applications of science in other areas of study.

The programme consists of electives and competitions. Wide range of science topics offered as elective modules. These elective modules aim to provide a deeper understanding and greater exposure to the topics. Students will be provided the opportunities for national as well as international competitions. Competitions such as International Science quizzes and Science Olympiads provide a platform for the students to challenge themselves in their Science knowledge and skills.

The Ngee Ann Academic Excellence Programme, known as SPARKS, gives students a holistic education with more focus in Research & Development, Mathematics and Science. At the same time, it also aims to develop students socially, morally and physically.

Eligibility

Students neeed to achieve a PSLE T-score of 242 with at least an 'A' grade in both Mathematics and Science.

Interested applicants have to sit for an aptitude test in Mathematics and Science.
