About Us
VISION: What does the CCA want to achieve?
To promote a community in which choral music is accessible and appreciated by all.
MISSION: What does the CCA set out to do?
To provide all Choir members with the opportunity to be exposed to music of various cultures and languages.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the time the students leave the CCA, what characteristics do they exhibit?

To exhibit socio0emotional competencies and emerging 21st century competencies at different phases of their time in Choir.

To be passionate and taking pride in singing with confidence.
LEARNING INDICATORS: How do we know our students have learnt?

Students get the opportunity to perform at different platforms such as SYF(AP), Tapestry, inter-school competitions, school concerts and external performances.

Students to attend master class (workshop) to further hone their choral vocal techniques.

Section Leaders are able to lead sectionals confidently

Students are given exposure to the different types of vocal exercises that are used to train their voice and develop their singing techniques.

Students are given opportunities to learn songs in different languages and learn about the different cultures in which the songs were written.
CCA-specific skills they can perform

To be able to sing in tune with other sections in Choir confidently
CCA-specific knowledge they will acquire

To be able to read music scores and understand the dynamics.

To have the knowledge of the SEVEN elements of music: Rhythm, Melody, Harmony, Timbre, Dynamics, Texture, and Form.

Teamwork; discipline and commitment to trainings

Responsible to memorise their lines in preparation for each piece of work
