About Us
VISION: What does the CCA want to achieve?
Collaborative and Innovative Tinkerers
MISSION: What does the CCA set out to do?
Provide a fun and safe learning environment that allows our students to apply and sharpen their computational thinking skills through solving real world problems.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the time the students leave the CCA, what characteristics do they exhibit?
-
Effectively apply knowledge of robotics and coding to solve problem (adaptive and inventive thinking in computational thinking).
-
Collaborate and work with others to plan/carry out events such as bonding activities, club activities (Collaboration/communication).
-
Mindful of how robotics/coding and relevant technologies are used in society.
LEARNING INDICATORS: How do we know our students have learnt?
-
Participation of robotic/coding competitions such as FLL, NRC, CodeQuest etc.
-
Able to transfer their learning from Senior to Juniors or to Primary school students through workshops conducted for them
-
Able to articulate the reasons for their robot builds and codes and from learning journey reflections
