Technopreneur
Technopreneur Programme is Ngee Ann Secondary’s talent development programme targeting students with a strong passion in coding and technology. The programme aims to nurture both an entrepreneurial mindset and technological competencies, equipping students to harness technology for good and to address the challenges of an increasingly digital economy.
Structure of the Programme
Technopreneur Programme is designed to cultivate students' entrepreneurial mindset and technological skills through a 3-year programme.
In the first year, students are introduced to the Design Thinking framework, which guides them in identifying, understanding, and ideating solutions to real-world problems. Training includes digital prototyping and communication skills, and cybersecurity awareness through the Sentinel programme in partnership with MINDEF, enabling students to effectively develop and present their ideas.
In the second year, students continue to deepen their knowledge and skills in coding and cybersecurity, and apply them to their innovative projects.
From the second to third year, they are also provided with opportunities to participate in competitions, learning journeys, and interactions with industry professionals, allowing them to collaborate with peers and gain insights from experts in the field.
